Cutting
The Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibition was under the auspices
of Austrian-Chinese Friendship and Vienna Art History Museum
and assisted by China Christian Council and was taken on by
the Amity Christian Art Center. The exhibition was held at Palais
Harrach in Vienna from 17th September 2000 to 30th October 2000
organized by the Austrian Museum of Fine Arts with the support
of the Austrian Chinese Friendship Society. The Museum of Fine
Arts is the biggest and most important Museum in Austria and
ranks among the most prestigious Museums in the world.
The exhibition was very well received by the visitors, the press
and the Austrian TV.
The team has sent 79 art works from 34 artists. There are Chinese
paintings, oil paintings, caligraphy, paper cutting and decorative
