the woman from Samaria who knew of and asked for 'living water' Jesus
disclosed he was the Messiah. At the witnessing of that woman, many people of Samaria began to believe in Jesus. Although Jesus himself did not give baptism, he surpassed John the Baptist in gaining many believers through his personal involvement with people-irrespective of class and creed. Using public well often seen in rural areas of Myanmar as a background, this work is depiction of the meeting of Jesus and the woman of Samaria." |
