God sent his son to save humankind and free us from sin. He chose the house of a poor family, and Mary as the mother who was to conceive the son of God. Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem in a manger, a place surrounded by cows, sheep and goats.
When the King came to know of the birth of the savior, the Son of God, he ordered every infant in Bethlehem to be killed. Coming to know of this, Joseph and Mary decided to flee immediately with the infant Jesus for his safety.
The print purposely depicts the pyramids of Egypt during this travel. The pyramids in the print show that no matter how big the creation of man is, it still requires the light of God, shown falling on the pyramids from a star, to be seen. The star also reminds us of the birth of the Son of God.
The yellow color for Jesus and Mary signifies the light of God in them.
